Community Arts Access Program
Mission: It is the goal of the Community Arts Access Program (CAAP) to give San Antonio citizens access to artistic and cultural activities in their own communities. The program makes funding available to local non-profit social service and community-based organizations so they can contract and partner with artists and arts organizations from an OCA approved roster. They will then be able to bring performances and art activities to all City Council Districts for the benefit of area residents and to further the city’s effort to make their neighborhood a great place to live.
Attention Community Organizations:
FY 2013 applications will be accepted on a quarterly basis beginning October 1, 2012.
FY 2013 quarterly deadlines are:
1st Qtr. – December 3, 2012
2nd Qtr. – March 4, 2013
3rd Qtr. – June 3, 2013
4th Qtr. – August 1, 2013
Community workshops will be held throughout the upcoming fiscal year.
